Brodbecks is located in Southern York County, Pennsylvania, just a slight distance north of the Maryland state border. While it is a very small community, its location along a railroad passage surely served it well in its early agricultural days.

Today, this part of the county is often a bedroom community for those working in York or the not-too-distant Baltimore, Maryland.
