This mutating instrument fits this week’s Geographic Composition “New & Old” theme personally for me. The shiny elaborate bass trombone in the bottom left corner morphs into my old and time-beaten tenor trombone as we move to the upper right. A real such beast might be handy for a musician on occasion.
