P&P Weekly #72
P&P Weekly #72
Jason D. Moore’s Photoshop & Photography Blogroll serves as the basis for his P&P Weekly, where Jason pick’s his favorite photography-related posts for the past week. It’s always been an honor to have a photograph selected by Jason, and his time in spotlighting fellow bloggers is greatly appreciated.
His audio/visual work this weekend at the Mass Mutual Center will keep Jason busy, so Jason Anderson of Canon Blogger and I will be sharing in the duties for week 72. Seventy-two; Jason’s been busy!
The sites listed below are from the first half of Jason’s blogroll, and have new entries presented within the last week. Favorites from each are listed and linked to below.
◦A Clean Well-Lighted Place - Shop Mannequins will be looking out at you, as you look into their world.
◦A “Focus” in the Wild - Stacey gets Up close, and personal and discusses and looks photographically at our personal boundaries. See Jason’s recent biographical look at Stacey here.
◦A Walk Through Durham Township, Pennsylvania - Jacob Lamb turns out to be a great portrait of two subjects.
◦Archerfoto - Kundanshita makes the Tokyo subway look like a tech hub.
◦Bruce L. Snell Photography - Bruce discusses (and shows) how Clients and Friends sometimes overlap.
◦Canon Blogger - Jason hosts the second half of this P&P weekly, and also lets you see How well do you score on his own Online Photography Test.
◦Crash Taylor Photography - Crash shows some excellent results from his recent wedding photography seminar with Andrea Barrett and some recent (well deserved) award winners.
◦Dave Cross Online - Many of us have seen Dave Cross on video discussing photography tools, but check out this photograph of Dave singing in the Academy, a barbershop group discussed in this newspaper article. (As a music teacher, I’m always interested seeing how many of Jason Moore’s photographer profiles note that the blogger/photographer is either a musician or would love to be one.)
◦Digital ProTalk - David Ziser - David shares why he had Another Fabulous Friday, and it involves good news for both his camera and the folks around us.
◦Eric Saar - Eric (with a C) posts a number of resources regarding Illustrator, Photoshop and other Adobe products.
◦Erik Persson Photography - Erik (with a K) posts a hint for Mac OS X-using bloggers.
◦f/11 - family/photography - I’m ready to visit this great Mission and chapel. Religious sites bring along a history that can only be expressed visually.
◦Invisible Green - And a perfect example is this wonderful image of an equally artful stained glass window at the Callaway Gardens church.
◦Jason D. Moore Photography - Learn more about Marcus and Stacey (bloggers in this post) by reading Jason’s posts, plus see a really well done black and white shot.
◦Jen Weaver Photography - Jen captures telling expressions in this Bathtime Bunny post.
◦John Nack on Adobe - Congratulations and thanks to John for sharing his Adobe expertise in 1,000 posts.
◦L7Foto - Kerry looks at portable data backups.
◦Laughing Lion Design - Jennifer posts a note for designers with an Irish connection.
◦Lightroom Killer Tips - I need to look into using Matt’s hint about a new way to use Lightroom’s slideshow feature. If you’re a Lightroom user, I’ll bet you’ll find a use for this, also.
◦Michael Palmer Photography - If you’re Heading out to the Zoo, definitely look for this guy.
◦New York Photography - Dave Beckerman - Anything involving a trombone is cool, but I particularly enjoy the Takeout Guys, Waiting.
◦Pabst Photo - Water & Rocks can make a beautiful combination, as seen in this almost mystical photograph.
The writers/photographers associated with the sites above have wonderful material and resources online. Take some time and explore the sites, as well as the second half of the blogs as hosted on Canon Blogger. I’m looking forward to seeing what Jason’s (Anderson) found for us!
Remember to check back to see Jason Moore’s next Geographic Composition entries later in the week.
