Sculpture by John Seward Johnson II, b. 1930

Johnson is known for his life-size bronze sculptures, usually of people in their everyday tasks. He is a man of numerous interests, as he is the founder of a New York theater, a magazine publisher and the head of an oceanographic research institution.
