The World in Color
The World in Color
“It (moving to color photography) never was a conscious thing. I had wanted to see a lot of things in color because the world is in color."
- William Eggleston, b. 1939
American photographer credited with achieving recognition for color photography as a serious art.

Thanks to Michael Palmer (shown above) for serving as tour guide on Friday as we explored the Maryland, Virginia and D.C. area. As usual, when two photography fans get together for the day, the focus (no pun intended) seems to be on...
Food. Seafood at the very cool D.C. waterfront and long but fast moving lines for burgers and fries at the city's Good Stuff Eatery.
I'll also note a stop at Virginia's Ace Photo. The number of camera bags they have in stock is amazing, and at quite good prices. Worth a stop if you're in the D.C. area.
And speaking of food and Michael, his food photography skills are excellent. Check out his web site.
