Some of the most interesting photographs from photowalks aren't the well known local landmarks, but the small, subtle details that we walk by everyday but tend not to notice. Likewise, part of the fun isn't what you expect to see, but rather the surprises.
During the Harrisburg photowalk, we were caught off guard by the sound of drums… outside. A concert of senior drum corps was scheduled for that evening in the Capitol Complex's Forum, and the corps were outside practicing.
I'm sure we'll find some unexpected treats during our photography of the St. Matthew organ and the wonderful desserts from the Sheppard Mansion as part of the March 6th photowalk. The deadline for registration is Sunday, so check it out soon:
